INDIGO Projects

The multilateral cooperation between European member states and associated countries as well as India has gained momentum. New INDIGO also contributed to this enhancement by implementing four calls for proposals enabling growing networks of European and Indian researchers.

New INDIGO also proved to be a platform for stakeholders discussing and exchanging information on the interests of their respective research policies in order to implement joint activities in mutual agreement.

Aiming at continuing the fruitful cooperation and further fostering the multilateral STI cooperation two projects started in November 2013. On the one hand INNO INDIGO will focus on the actual scientific collaboration by bringing together funders in order to implement calls for proposals.

On the other hand INDIGO POLICY can support the policy dialogues going on between European MS / AC, Indian stakeholders and the European commission and support as well as feed with necessary analysis and activities.

Both projects work closely together in order to maximize the effects of both projects and use synergies.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological
development and demonstration.
